MURRAY, UTAH, May 19, 2008 - Rex Olson, GEICO field representative, will open a new office at 6552 South State Street in Murray, Utah, to serve local residents with their insurance needs for auto, motorcycle, home, boat and other insurance coverages.
The community is invited to special grand opening festivities on Wednesday, May 21 from 1 to 4 p.m. Visitors can enjoy refreshments, GEICO giveaways, an onsite radio broadcast and a special appearance from the Gecko.

Olson and his staff have more than 14 years of experience in the insurance industry. Prior to opening a local field office, Olson worked as an independent insurance agent. He holds a bachelors degree in human resource management from Utah State University.
